Good for beginners if viewing from afar.The sword took a week to ship, but once it shipped, it arrived earlier than expected. It has a nice weight to it, and the blade is as described. However, I had a couple of unexpected disappointments:-The blade had a few scuffs along it.-The gold designs on the handle are almost gone, with a darkening on the wood as well, as if they've been handled for years.-The text is etched in perfectly on one side, but is etched in reverse on the other side, like looking in a mirror.And I would love it if CB could add a scabbard or sheath for this blade in the future, as they are hard to locate separately.
