I had a very disappointing experience with the service. This was a move from a two-bedroom, one-office townhome to another unit just 1.5 miles away, with many items already packed. Despite this, the second day of moving lasted from 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 p.m., which is excessive for the size and distance involved.
There was undisclosed property damage that the movers never mentioned, including broken basement stair railings. I discovered this damage myself, as the broken pieces were hidden behind a water heater. Additionally, a dresser drawer knob was broken and not reported.
Several items were mishandled — sofa legs were removed and not reattached, cushions were left piled in the basement, and a treadmill was disassembled without my consent, with an extra part later found hidden.
The packing process was inefficient and poorly organized. I paid for extra supplies, yet the crew ran out early and suggested using my personal blankets for glassware. Many boxes were unlabeled, and those marked for the master bedroom were left downstairs.
In the end, I was charged three times the original quote. Management offered a small settlement and then went silent for weeks, only responding after I disputed the charges through my credit card.
I cannot recommend this service.
