My difficulty has been both with the app and with my attempts to get information from the charity over the phone. The app listed the age of the child I sponsor wrong so I wished her a happy 15th when it was her 16th. I also asked, a while back, to receive letters by post and not through the app but this hasn't happened. It's easy to miss letters on the app. The charity also, a few years ago, increased the monthly amount without making me aware that this was happening. I don't mind the new amount but I do mind not being put on notice of the new amount. I continue to support the sponsored child because obviously I care about her and want her to have support. That said, Compassion as a charity appear to be run in quite a disorganised way, in terms of the sponsor facing administration which is a real shame, given the really good cause they stand for and deliver.
