After 12 months out of education and a slow recovery from burnout, diagnosis’s of neurodiversity we decided to try a bit of online learning. My daughter agreed but said no camera, she wouldn’t ask for help, she wasn’t sure etc. Murrough and Gráinne were so reassuring and walked us through how it would all work. Gráinne has replied to all my texts - we had a few technical problems and she sorted us out straight away! She has been brilliant, and so supportive.Ava has completed two weeks of maths, English and science and has asked to increase her hours to include history and geography. Ava is interacting with teachers and other children. The lessons are fun and engaging. She is totally engaged and enjoying it. After a long and painful year the difference I have seen in Ava is unbelievable. She feels valued and capable and this has changed her whole demeanour. We have a child now who is smiling and chatting. She seems calm and at peace. My mum always pops in to check on her and she can’t believe the difference in her mood.
