Because of this, and probably because of the core values of the people behind It's Complicated, this platform feels incredibly accessible to both therapists and clients. I have been on It's Complicated for a year now and have given more than a 100 session already. It's Complicated has been a game changer in my practice, solving a long standing question I had since beginning my own private practice: "How can I let the world know I am here to help, and can do so competently?". The engineers at It's Complicated, a small team I had the fortune to meet, is also super warm and curious about what we think and want as therapist, so they keep designing the platform and the features on all the feedback they receive, directly and indirectly. It's Complicated is also perhaps exception in another way, in that there is this whole community platform that stands behind the interface where clients find us. The Community platform literally gives you access to hundreds of other therapists that you can ask questions to and network with, whether it's because you are looking for a Supervisor, or because you are unsure about what to charge for your services. I don't use any other therapist directory. I am very happy with the quality of the leads I get, and have enough work, together with my own word of mouth leads. Finally I think the subscription options are quite accessible. I am still on the basic tier, but joined the matching program. In this sense I don't know what's the best option to take, but starting slow and trying it out without incurring much of a cost was my first goal. After three months it became obvious that the leads I was getting were paying for the subscription and more.
