Can’t comment on engineer outside of Kent but the service I got from the one I ended up with is just baaaad. Lack of communication- got told I’ll get pricing or call for them to never come. I was always the one messaging to get any information. Get told you’ll get a call tomorrow, you’ll get a price tomorrow, you’ll get a price and call on Monday- no one called or messaged. Only reason I reached out to an engineer was because I knew that either my CPU or motherboard was at fault, and I couldn’t afford to get the parts to fix it myself. In the end, almost 2 weeks later, I got my unfixed PC back, bit the bullet and got the parts. It took me an hour to fix it myself- as a noob who watched a few YouTube videos. If you’re in Kent- AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Just find a local PC repair shop next to you and meet the person face to face, get a diagnosis there with a price for the fix and how long it will take- before you give your system away for repair. I knew what the issue was- I even said so when I reached out. It was either my CPU or motherboard, no mention of any graphics cards- BEFORE I gave my PC away. I enquired because I couldn’t afford to spend another £700 for parts. I was expecting to get my PC back BEFORE I got the parts-for which I scrapped up the last penny I had so I could continue using it not just for leisure but for work. I also collected the PC myself. I got both a new motherboard and CPU to test because it should not take over a week to get a diagnosis that you have to chase yourself. And it was not Ben that was fixing my PC it was his engineer- who I noticed bent some pins in the motherboard. I offered to pay for the diagnosis because I understood that they still took the time to check my PC and I asked for an invoice twice- with no invoice.
