When I purchased these cards and then read these reviews I was sure I'd been scammed. However, our cards did work for the metro in Milan. The collection point is quite inconvenient (especially as it closes over lunchtime). We purchased the 4 day pass - we were given 1x 24hr pass and 1x 3 day pass each. The first day none of the cards worked - but the security men at the metro let us through anyway. After that, all the cards worked every time. I'm not sure if the deals advertised with the milanocard are legit but be aware.....IT IS CHEAPER TO BUY A TRAVEL CARD FROM THE METRO STATION!! (€2 for 90 mins, €7 per day, €15 for 3 days....)
