I was initially suspicious of a company who "guaranteed installation before Christmas" in their advertising in the second week of November. Seems I was correct! I informed them of my need for a roof repair right from the beginning and when Sarah Jones visited (wow she's a good sales person!) she considered the repair/panel replacement to be straightforward, I duly accepted the quote for repair and insulation fitting and paid my deposit.A second surveyor then had to visit to take further measurements and he raised concerns about breaking the long plastic cap if he just pushed the slipped panel back, so left it be.Come installation day (third week of January), the fitters (very competent and sub contracted) arrived and they too immediately noted the risk of breaking the cap. However Connor in the office stated that he could not supply the necessary parts, should the cap indeed break and advised immediate cancellation. I was therefore left with my still leaking roof. They did, kindly, allow me to keep the replacement panel that was on the van with no charge and I have now received my deposit back (they only process refunds on a Friday).I have since approached a specialist conservatory repair company who have carried out all the work, including the same insulation, at a very competitive price. As others have previously stated, before you consider using this company, be absolutely certain the roofing is completely sound and leak free!
