I am loving my CoolFire Trainer. It's helped me 'connect the dots' between the loads of dry-firing I usually do and the limited range time I get. The recoil is bigger than I had anticipated, although admittedly not quite as snappy as 9mm 115 grain, I think. I'm over the moon with regards to how much trigger time I get with this thing. I practiced pretty regularly with an airsoft replica for four years, and I would say that the CoolFire Trainer is prefferable. Higher startup cost, but cheaper to shoot. I purchased two 20oz CO2 tanks for my CoolFire Trainer, it's six bucks per tank to fill up at a local paintball store, and I go through a tank per week shooting maybe two to three thousand 'shots' per tank (I have yet to actually count the amount of shots per tank; this is just an estimate for now). Plus, the CoolFire Trainer allows you to use your actual gun.My CFT unit also had a mechanical issue that couldn't be remedied over the phone/email, so the CoolFire customer service dept. sent me a shipping label for free and fixed it without any fuss. I was out of commission for a little over a week, but it has worked great ever since. They were very prompt responding to me and actually acted like they were concerned that it didn't work, which made me feel like a valued customer. Bottom line: I get tons and tons of training working my trigger reset with the CoolFire Trainer, and recoil to boot. To me, this thing has been worth every penny. It's loads of fun to shoot! I use it every day.
