I sold my car to copart as a scrapped car which to be fair if they have an in house mechanic it could prob be fixed and sold as a working car. So they sent me a bunch of questions one of which was the log book in my name so I clearly wrote i have the logbook but it is still in the previous owners name . So after them reviewing my answers they proceeded to book me in to get my car uplifted . The driver came to take the car and also asked was the logbook in my name and I told him no its still in the previous owners name and he continued to toe my car away anyway. So they had two occasions in which to reject taking my car due to the logbook. So I sent an email to complain I have received the payment as promised by the end of the day. They then mentioned that cant pay me because the logbook isn't in my name . So I sent screenshots of my answer to their question Is the logbook in your name and I mentioned it you don't accept cars that are in someone else's name then this should have been the time to inform me. So they got back to me all these messages happened in the 1 day after the car was uplifted . They asked to see my tax or insurance details to prove that the car is actually mine which is fair enough but should really have been asked after I filled in the questionnaire. So I sent my insurance policy with the national insurance database showing the car is still currently insured . So they accepted this as proof that the car belonged to me and quickly paid the amount of money we initially agreed on. After looking at their reviews on here I thought I was gonna get a lot of hassle trying to get paid but no it was just a bit of a mixup and as soon as I verified the details they asked for they paid me quickly onto my bank. 1 day later than expected but mistakes do happen were not all perfect . So even though I've read a lot of negative review I can't personally fault them from my dealings with them they paid the full amount they offered with a slight delay so ive had no problems with them as a company and can only give a positive review I believe that it was chloe that i was dealing with and everything was done quickly and professionally
