We opted for the park-and-ride service, which proved to be inconsistent. The journey to the airport was especially disorganised. We were heading to Gatwick's South Terminal, unaware that the driver would also be picking up returning passengers from the North Terminal and dropping some off using the same bus. This caused confusion and made handling luggage particularly challenging with an overloaded bus. Families with young children had to wait about 10 minutes while departing passengers disembarked with their baggage. However, the return trip was much smoother. A quick call to the office ensured we were promptly picked up from the airport and taken directly to the car park, where retrieving our keys from reception was effortless.
