A truly marvellous marmalade experience from start to finish. We booked the Paddington coach trip with Coracle Coaches through a third party, which included an overnight stay in London, an evening performance of Paddington, and a full leisure day in the city. From our early morning pickup, everything ran smoothly. Our tour driver Sam was absolutely wonderful throughout the trip, welcoming, accommodating, and incredibly knowledgeable about London and the roads. The coach itself was comfortable, making the journey enjoyable, including a lovely comfort stop in Windsor. Our stay at the Sheraton Skyline was excellent a great location with easy access into London. Despite the expected traffic, Sam kept everything stress-free, communicating clearly and even creating a designated WhatsApp group so we always knew timings and pickup points. That level of organisation coracle goes to made a huge difference and removed any travel worries. After we had freshened up at the hotel, Sam kindly drove us into London and dropped us off just a short stroll from the Savoy Theatre, making the whole experience feel effortless and wonderfully smooth. Stepping out into the city, with the excitement of the evening ahead, only added to the magic of the occasion. And true to her impeccable organisation, Sam was there waiting for us outside after the show, ready to whisk us back in comfort. It was such a reassuring and seamless part of the trip, no stress, no rushing, just pure enjoyment of a truly marvellous theatrical evening 🧡🐻✨ Paddington The Musical was unforgettable a magical, heartwarming production filled with warmth, joy, and beautiful music, celebrating everyone’s favourite marmalade-loving bear. From the moment that small, red-hatted bear stepped onto the stage, the entire theatre seemed to glow with warmth, joy, and a kind of gentle magic that felt wonderfully nostalgic. With great seats up in the Dress Circle, The vibrant colours, the dazzling sets, the hummable songs, and that unmistakable Paddington charm created an atmosphere that was both spectacular and deeply comforting like a marmalade sandwich for the soul. I laughed, I teared up, and I left feeling lighter, happier, and quietly reminded of the simple beauty of kindness, family, and finding your place in the world.
Our second day was just as wonderfully organised and enjoyable. After a comfortable overnight stay at the Sheraton Skyline in Heathrow, complete with a lovely room and a truly delicious breakfast, we were ready to head back into the city for our leisure day. Setting off at 9:30 am, everything felt relaxed and effortless. The convenient drop-offs at Marble Arch, made exploring London incredibly easy, saving us both the stress and expense of navigating the city ourselves. As we ventured through Oxford Street and shortly into Covent Garden. Throughout the day, Sam kept us fully informed via WhatsApp, sharing clear updates on timings, procedures, and parking locations, which was instantly helpful and reassuring. With a perfectly coordinated meeting time of 3:45 pm at Kingsway, we regrouped smoothly before our 4 pm departure back to Wales, enjoying a comfortable journey home with a well-timed comfort stop along the way. It was a beautifully planned day from start to finish.
This was our first trip with Coracle Coaches, and it certainly will not be our last.
