If I could give Costco Vacations zero stars, I would. I strongly advise against using their services. Once you encounter any issues, you're completely on your own.I booked a vacation package and was assured by two separate agents that if I canceled, I would receive flight credits that I could use directly with the airline. However, after canceling and contacting the airline, I was informed that this wasn’t true—the credits were non-transferable, meaning I was stuck dealing with Costco. When I called Costco to clarify, they insisted the credits were with the airline and that I should wait for them to transfer, as it might take some time. I called the airline again, only to be told, once more, that I had to resolve the issue through Costco. After a few days, I contacted Costco again, only to be told they couldn’t locate my air credits. To make matters worse, they explained that even if I wanted to rebook flights, I would need to pay more out of pocket. This was shocking because my flight credits amounted to over $4,000. Apparently, each ticket included $550 in non-refundable taxes, as per the government. That explanation made no sense to me. The entire experience has been frustrating, misleading, and disappointing. Save yourself the headache and avoid Costco Vacations at all costs.
