I had a very concerning experience at Costcutter, 262 Kentwood Hill, Tilehurst, Reading RG31 6DR, which operates as an InPost parcel collection point.I went to collect a parcel and the staff scanned my code but told me it “didn’t work,” refusing to hand over the item. Shortly afterwards, I received a notification from Vinted confirming that the parcel had been marked as delivered/collected.When we returned to query this, staff simply repeated that “the scanner didn’t work” and made no effort to double-check, verify the collection log, or investigate further.I left the shop without the parcel, yet the system shows it as collected. That discrepancy is serious and needs urgent investigation.I strongly advise anyone collecting parcels from this location to check the status before leaving the store.Overall, a very disappointing and stressful experience.
