After booking for 3 people at a table near the windows, I rang the day before and amended the number to 4. When we arrived, we were dismayed to be squashed on to a tiny table around a pillar, although there were larger empty unreserved tables near the windows. We moved ourselves to one of these. My friend and I each ordered a green side salad with our main course. When the salads arrived, we discovered that they had no vinaigrette of dressing, and complained. They were eventually replaced. I got the distinct feeling that there was no senior member of staff keeping an eye on the overall detail.
