Bought some Meindl walking shoes in late July. Noticed in mid October that both of double stitch lines at the front of one shoe were coming undone. I complained to CO with photos and received a 'bot' reply which did not answer my questions and asked for photos! Having now sent the shoes back I am told that assessment will take 4-6 weeks, possibly a repair or otherwise a voucher. I had already requested a replacement. Spoke to a helpful individual on the phone today but seems the best they can do is ask for the matter to be expedited but 4-6 week timeframe remains. I personally feel that this response time is way too long for dealing with a fault in a 3 month old pair of shoes. Very poor customer service.
