Hidden fees. Cozy Earth has several hidden fees that they don't make very clear upfront. Firstly, they charge a "shipping protection" fee. Technically, you can opt out of this, but it's a bit confusing to do so and they send up a ton of warning messages (including a text message). I'm not sure why this fee is necessary when most shipping companies cover the cost of lost packages these days. It feels like a scam given how hard the company is pushing it.Additionally, if you want to return anything, they say it's "free returns", but they charge a ~$12 return handling fee. I didn't realize this until I went to return something because it didn't fit and was very disappointed. Most retailers that sell clothing at this price point (especially maternity clothing) don't charge this type of fee when you return something.This experience left me overall very disappointed.
