4 years ago I ordered a Shavel electric blanket. They are very expensive everywhere, Cozy Winters had the best price of any store. Above the great price their customer service was excellent, I got my blanket quickly and with no problems. I use my blanket all the time, so after 4 years it died! I decided to order another shavel blanket from Cozy Winters because I was so happy with my last purchase, when doing so I see there was a 5 year warranty with my blanket. So I mentioned that I didn't realise it came with 5 year warranty, but I didn't fill out a warranty card but when buying this new one, so would they be sure to help me with the warranty with my new blanket...I wasn't upset with the fact I didn't get my warranty with my old blanket as I felt I got more than my use from it. Unbeknownst to me they submitted a warranty claim for my old blanket,the Shavel company honored my warranty because it was a year short of my 5 yr. Warranty. They notified me to let me know they were sending me a brand new blanket! Because I live in Canada, they decided to wave me sending back the old blanket that died as the cost was not worth the return! What am AWESOME company! Both Cozy Winters and Shavel!Cozy Winters said because I live in Canada , Shavel may charge me the new Tariff fees and duty, but to my surprise there were No fees! I am stunned at how far they went for my warranty! Cozy Winters called me to explain my warranty went thru, AND did I still want the new blanket I had ordered? I have to admit, I didn't really need 2 blankets, but felt guilty cancelling my order after they went the extra mile to submit my warranty for me , but they assured me it was no problem! So l cancelled my order. Got my refund. All with no issues, what wonderful customer service! I can't say I've EVER had this kind of customer service. I was happy to purchase a new blanket, and yet they went the extra mile to insure my warranty and be sure I was a happy client! CRAZY..I thought the days of this service was a thing of the past! Thank-you Cozy Winters! You are a pleasant surprise in the days gone by in this kind of service! Good for you, I highly recommend this company!
