I scheduled a surgery two months in advance, as it requires recovery, and I even planned my vacation for that period. Then, just three hours before the surgery, they called to inform me the doctor was sick and that it would be rescheduled for three weeks later. I explained I couldn’t make that date due to work commitments, and they said they would call back with a better option. Two minutes later, they sent me a text saying the surgery was set for the following month. They didn’t even have the courtesy to call and discuss other options. I feel like they treat you with complete disrespect. You have to conform to their schedule without consideration for your own. I can't imagine anyone being able to check for other doctors or facilities in just two minutes after our call, nor did they provide referrals to explore alternative options, despite my advance planning and need to have this done during my vacation. If you must go to this hospital, be prepared for a lack of respect and situations like this. Edit: They contacted me after the review to apologize and attempt to find a better date that suited me.
