Softies are my most favorite food ever. I’m 69 and have been eating them for a good part of my life. I don’t get to eat them as often anymore because they are so expensive and I am on a fixed income. So I was so excited to order them again after two years of not having any. I have never used Crab Dynasty before. They did get pretty good reviews, so I thought I’d give them a try. I ordered the jumbos, which were supposed to be 5 to 5 1/2 inches tip to tip. As I looked back on the order after receiving them, I noticed that it said that was the size before cleaning them. Now the only part you clean is what’s underneath the top of the shell, so I don’t quite understand how cleaning them can change the length of the crab. The alleged jumbos we received were only 4 inches tip to tip. I was taken aback at how tiny they were. I know I should’ve taken a picture with a ruler, but we were all waiting and anticipating eating these as soon as we got them. My bad for not doing that, so I don’t expect any compensation, but I just wanted to let everyone know to be aware that you might not get what you paid for. These crabs are very expensive as it is so you do want to get the right size. All that being said, they were very good taste wise.
