When customer service is top notch, it deserves to be shared.I have been in the very long process of converting a Fiat Ducato into a campervan. I bought 3 solar panels (800w total) from Craig Solar about 2 years ago and fitted them to a DIY roof rack on my van. All good. No issues at all.Then last week on Fri 19th Sep 2025, on my way to a job, I made a school boy error and drove my van under a low bridge. Yep. I know!I damaged my Poynting antenna, my Max Fan…….and two of my three solar panels.I ordered two more panels from Craig on that same Friday afternoon and they arrived via DPD at 13:00 today (Monday 22nd). Very quick delivery indeed.However, once I got around to opening then at 14:15 I found that both solar panels had been damaged during transit by DPD. Both had glass shattered.I emailed Craig at 14.23 to ask what I needed to do to resolve this.Craig replied with a no quibble response within 25 minutes, apologised, and offered to post out some replacement solar panels.I was a little dubious about another delivery from DPD but agreed for another delivery.However, at 15.46, Craig informed me that he had packed his van and was going to hand deliver these two panels to my door TODAY………..a 6 hour round trip of 250 miles.Craig knocked on my door at 18:20 and delivered those two panels in person. He also took away the two damaged panels.So, within just over 4 hours of reporting the damaged solar panels, Craig had resolved this by driving from his home to my home with two intact panels.That kind of customer service is very hard to find.Thanks Craig.
