I find it hard reading some of the reviews on here. In no way would I want to question their experiences. I do feel, however, that review sites can be a way of having a go at someone or some company you have a grudge with. I have been taken aback by some of the reports and feel that they are so at odds with my experience that I need to put my views forward to give some balance.I am 62 years old and have been in quite a few jobs before I joined the company at Morecambe. I have had my own business and have employed or have been in charge of staff. I started with Creative Support 3 years ago. I found the job difficult at first but felt supported by my line manager and the managers in the office. I have come to love the work and the clients I support as part of a team. From working in most of the houses in our care I have a great deal of respect for how they are run and how well our clients are supported. There will always be problems along the way and some staff may not see eye to eye but overall it is a friendly and happy workplace. Our clients are treat with the upmost respect and fantastic care. Lots of activities and a great working relationship with staff, houses, parents and our managers. If anyone is considering working for the company I would say give it a go and make your own mind up. To those who have put damming reports up on this site I feel really sorry they have not had a good experience and that they can hopefully accept my views as a true record. I have no ulterior motive in writing this, it's merely my opinion.
