This company is horrible and has very terrible communication with their customers. l was trying to re-apply for another loan for the amount of $1000. I paid off my first loan which was $400 (I have the evidence saying it’s paid off) and my final payoff balance was $466 and it cleared on February 25. I reached the silver loyalty status which they have tiers for when you pay off each loan and went to apply for a loan today (03/02) and it says I was denied. I called customer support and they said that my loan entered collections which that shouldn't be the case because I paid on time. There was one payment that was returned because I accidentally clicked on the “schedule a payment” and I was already having my a payment coming out that next week and I emailed the support team to see if they could stop the payment and they said no, so that’s when I had that one payment stopped but I made up the payment the next week so I was still on schedule. That’s crazy if something happens with one payment it goes straight to collections without any resolution first. Also, I had been communicating with a “Jennifer Smith” which I believe is AI and we coordinated my payoff amount and scheduled the final payment and she never once said my account was in collections. I have an email chain to prove it and something should have been told to me if my account was in collections and I would have fixed it while paying off my loan. I worked really hard to pay off my loan and to get that loyalty status. Additionally, I called the collections department to see if they can tell me an amount since they said I was on collections but they couldn’t give me an amount. And kept giving me the same answer that “they couldn’t approve my loan NEVER because my account was in collections.” Which again WAS NOT mentioned to me in the coordination of my final payoff amount. This company didn’t even offer any type of resolution which really tells me that this company knows it’s wrong and they don’t want to admit it. If someone is in collections that company should offer some type of resolution and not be rude and say I can never apply again.
