When I first discovered Credit Karma many years ago, I first thought it was a scam only to discover it was one of the best tools to hit the internet. I love it because: (a) it's free; and (b) it provides not only one's credit score, but so many useful tips, a slew of credit card options from which to choose based on each of their offerings that work best for an individual, as well as loan companies if ever needed. The highlight of using Credit Karma is that, as mentioned, it's free. It is always at your fingertips versus having to send written communication to Equifax or Transunion to request a credit report (one of which I believe still charges a fee, which is crazy), which would probably be out of date by the time it was received. Using Credit Karma provides you with an up-to-date report each time, and the site is easy to navigate for whatever you want to view.
Now, if I could only win the monthly $5,000 prize they offer ...
