I registered with Credit Ladder to report my rent and help build my credit score and I achieved exactly that. I needed the service because I was relatively new in the UK (less than 1 year), had no credit cards at the time and wanted to take out a mortgage. My rent payment was the biggest regular payment going out of my account each month and a pity it doesn't count. CreditLadder helped me build the score and I secured my mortgage.
