Calls 5 times a day, hangs up hangs up like a scamster

This company has been calling 5 rimes a day. They never leave a message. It simply rings once and disconnects as soon as you answer. I did not reply, as It is a well worn trick scamsters use to trick into you into calling back (because you thought it was a dropped call), so they know they have a "live one" and can sell your info to other scamsters,Even more indicative of illegal intent, they never once left a message! Not once!Today I finally called back using *67 and asked to take me OFF their scam call list and the first thing they did was ask for "your complete credit card number or complete social security number". To me, this seems like even more indication of illegal intent. I refused to divulge this information and demanded to know 1) who they were, i.e., what company was calling me 5 times a day and 2) why. They insisted they were Credit One. I'm not going to fall for this scam, so I called Credit One to report these scamsters and discovered that is was actually Credit One!I had to ask the heavily accented phone rep 7 times before they would tell me WHY they were calling 5 times a day. She kept saying "It's automated". Obviously it is automated but WHY are they calling 5 times a day? She replied that one account was overdue. I was on my account page while we held this conversation and it clearly indicated the minimum had been met, and that there was no payment currently due. I very recently received a second card from Credit One, and it was hidden in an area on the far upper left. Unless you click on this area, you never see the second card or any notices, like the overdue notice to which I am referring. I immediately paid, but requested to speak with a manager regarding the abuse Credit One was making of my phone number: 5 hangs ups every day.Another question she could not answer: WHY, if I was overdue, and they felt in necessary to call 5 times a day, was there never one single message that a payment was overdue, or simply a request to call regarding on "an important matter? Again the rep could not answer. When I requested a manager, she replied: "We have no managers."(Oh, really?). After more frustrating conversation, she admitted they have "supervisors". I requested to be transferred to one, and was told "I'm sorry, but we are experiencing high call volume now". That's odd, I got through right away to the heavily accented rep).I insisted in being transferred anyway, ans listened to music for a long time until I finally hung up, defeated. Of course this is EXACTLY what they wanted.1) No commercial enterprise should be allowed to call clients or customers 5 times a day. 2) The number they are calling from reveal who they they are.3) If it is important, leave a message, I'll call you back.4) If you want payments, how about putting a banner on the first page after log in informing the customer of important information, like an overdue? Isn't it easier than calling 5 times a day?5) Don't assume everyone knows your drop downs and where notices are hidden on your website.SHAME, SHAME, SHAME ON YOU CREDIT ONE FOR BEHAVING LIKE A SCAMSTER.You would have gotten your payment much earlier by behaving in a more legitimate fashion.
