Crikey Mikey was founded by Michael Irwin, a Chartered Chemist and Scientist, who was frustrated with the poor performance and high cost of outdoor cleaning and garden products. Using his extensive chemical knowledge and working alongside the UK’s Health and Safety Executive, Michael set out to create outdoor solutions that truly work and offer great value for money.
Our first products, designed to remove mould, algae, and lichen, impressed everyone—including Michael’s 9-year-old granddaughter, whose excited exclamation, “Crikey Mikey!” gave our brand its name.
