I mimic what others are saying about this organisation! I have some information about someone, that might help to piece together a timeline of events. This is someone already known to the police, of which they are appealing for further information, where they have given, as well as the non-emergency police line, the crime stoppers contact, in order to report this information. So I say and did this last night on the crime stoppers page and set up an anonymous log in. I tried to log in several times to check that it was all working ok, which it was, then I tried this morning, and I can’t log in at all, and it’s saying my log in attempt has failed! No questions, no reasoning, no thank you for your information it will be passed on accordingly, nothing! Now I’m left wondering if this information will be passed on or not. Probably not. As I’ve now noticed that it stipulates several incidences where this is not the channel of which to report it. Such as: Report an emergency,You are a victim of crime,Benefit fraud,Scam emails or phone calls,Untaxed vehicles,Minor driving offences,Dumped vehicles,Noise complaints,Fly-tipping,Missing people. What can you report then??Ridiculous!
