Before even getting the ball rolling, going through initial questions, the call handler could not advise wether a previous charge of mine was spent or not. Surely as a legal firm, you would know. Then when asked to obtain a copy of my criminal convictions she told me to go to my local police station. Its hard enough to have them fight crime never mind print out a sheet for a spent conviction that is spent.Then the call handler kept speaking over the top of me, even when requested not to. Given the sensitive nature of the reason people are calling, you would think fairness, empathy and respect would be shown.Some of us women spent years being spoken over the top of, and I for one, will not let another human do that again, take your organization and kindly leave domestic abuse victims alone.
