I've made 8 purchases from Crooked Howlet Designs for myself, my partner and for family members. I have always recieved a high quality hand made product and A++ customer service.I feel somewhat obligated to leave a review after seeing some of the other negative reviews on this page to stand behind a local company that I love and share my expierences. As I said I've had a lot of expierences with Crooked Howlet and all my expirences have been A++, I'm someone with a customer service background myself and I can certainly understand that not every solution can be resolved and the issue(s) can arise from either side.Regardless onto the review! Throughout all of my purchases I've actually had to make contact with customer service quite a few times, to no fault of Crooked Howlet really but more questions around sizing, resizing, custom orders, voucher usage etc. Each time I've been in contact I've recived a fast and knowledable response they have an online chat on their website which almost returns an instant reply, as well as an email you can get in contact via and generally respond within 1-3 days. If anyone from the team see's this Jane is an absoute asset to the team and always has a response/answer or she's able to find out. Let me tell you, if you show her this review she probably knows me because I am a pain in the butt and have reached out a bunch. Anyways, I've completed a customer order where I met in person with someone to discuss sizing, I've completed a free resizing as well as a paid resizing after owning a ring for months. I have never had any issue or hesitation in completing one of these requests. If anything the team has gone above and beyond to resolve any issue or questions I have. I would extend this feedback to both Reece and India from the Bespoke team (Custom orders) who helped me through a lengthy design/sizing/creating phase of a custom ring I had made for my father. Some of the rings have arrived within 2 weeks, and some over holiday periods in particuarly have taken longer, and my Bespoke the longest by far (granted we went back and foward over design ideas, renders, sizes etc and I said time was of 0 importance to me). To me this is all expected, if you want a ring in a 2 day turn around you probably want to head down to your local wallace bishop and buy something off the shelf. These rings are high quality and individual from a local growing buisness, stuff takes time ya know! Regardless if you reach out the team is always able to tell you an expected eta etc and I've never felt the time was abnormally long, for example I did wait a few weeks on a resize and it was just due to a backlog around Christmas I reached out, they ensured me they had it and the changes were underway. Something else I would commend is the speed of the shipping once the ring is complete, granted I live in a cbd location it is in a different state to their home factory and I almost always recieve next day shipping. Anyway, I hope that this review is a little bit refreshing from the others and can help with everyones expectations. Every one of my expierences with Crooked Howlet has been A+++ in every facet from the point of purchase, contact with customer service to arrival of the final peiece. I will continue to be a happy and loyal customer although I am running out of fingers. Go in with expectations of a high quality local buisness, communicate with customer service when you need to, have reasonable expectations of turn around time especially with custom pieces or during peak times, order early if you need! I couldn't recommend Crooked Howlet Designs enough.
