I signed up to make a modest investment in an enterprise. I was registered and everything seemed to be fine. When I came to invest it seemed that there was a small error in my details, I received multiple emails to encourage me to amend the details on line. I couldn't, the data I wanted to change was greyed out. So I just left it, if they could not be bothered to contact me and ask what the problem was I wasn't going to chase after them. The pity is that the company that I was going to invest in knew nothing of this they just didn't get the money. I encourage all businesses trying to raise money this way to be curious about how many prospects they have that somehow fall off the edge. You may see that I have now had a reply from Crowdcube. This illustrates that they have completely missed my point. I was not bothered if I could subscribe or not and Crowdcube made it difficult for me, so I didn't bother. Why would I 'reach out' (dreadful phrase) to them? Yes, they sent an email saying that I had to circumvent their systems to make changes, I just couldn't be bothered to try. They could have sent me a painless way to contact them not send me down endless phone systems and labyrinthine layers of automation. For instance, they could have called me. This matters not to me. BUT their customer - the company raising money - did miss out and they should have been better served.
