Using cTrader demo account. Helped me a lot to go from complete novice trader to a one who begun to understand the basics of trade. At the beginning neither platform nor I understood that I was using unrealistic 1:200 option as regulative does not allow me to have more than 1:30. But that could have made me go through a first year of trading as I avoided quite a few margin calls this way. One may say that said year may have been lost in such way but it was actually fine experience. Platform is user friendly and modern looking. Trading is very practical although I do not like that TP and SL platform presets overrule presets from indicator once in manual mode. However that's not a big issue. Recently (with the help of AI as I was never trained in coding) I commenced building cBots and Indicators - a lot of tweaking is needed but is very easy and fun to do. For those who are alike me (never used any other platform) I highly recommend to learn to use this platform instead MT4 or MT5. This is my personal opinion so hard core users of mentioned platform should do their own thing. So far, with demo account, no big issues. Those few at the beginning were resolved in short time. When I was out of free time there was no much of nagging from platform to continue using it which is also appreciated. So far I am rather satisfied. I hope the same experience will translate when/if I decide to use live account.
