I am filing this complaint regarding a deeply concerning and unacceptable experience with Cubalama. On 3/14/26, I placed an order through Cuballama window air conditioning unit, a rechargeable fan, and a power bank. The total cost of this purchase was $496 (including taxes). This was the final transaction I made that day. Shortly after completing the purchase, I received a text message stating that my payment could not be verified and that I needed to contact customer service. I attempted to do so immediately, only to be informed that their offices were already closed at 8:00 PM. This left me unable to resolve the issue in a timely manner. At approximately 9:00 PM, I logged into my Cubalama account to follow up—and discovered that my account had been deactivated without any prior warning, explanation, or justification. At this time: My account is inaccessible My order has not been delivered My payment has already been processed This sequence of events strongly suggests misconduct. From my perspective, it appears that Cubalama has taken my money, blocked my access, and failed to fulfill their end of the transaction. This is not only unethical but potentially fraudulent. Furthermore, Cubalama already has a reputation for delayed or undelivered orders. In my case, instead of addressing the issue professionally, it appears they have retaliated by disabling my account entirely—effectively preventing me from seeking resolution through normal channels. This situation is unacceptable. If this matter is not resolved immediately, I am prepared to take further action, including: Filing a lawsuit Reporting this incident to the appropriate federal financial and consumer protection authorities Desired Resolution: Immediate reactivation of my Cubalama account Full delivery of all items purchased (window AC unit, rechargeable fan, and power bank) without further delay Clear communication explaining why my account was deactivated and why my payment was flagged
