Review Time
I made an account on the 15th of March and bought a Gold membership on the site, so everything has been working well. But Then, when I hadn't been on for 2 days, I checked on the site and saw 36 people had viewed my profile. It says I got 30 likes, and when I went to check my likes, I got a pop-up saying this: "CalyX^, 30 people liked your profile!" Upgrade now to see your potential matches. "Upgrade to Platinum" They want me to upgrade to Platinum in order to see likes and views of members, while Gold is supposed to be enough... I can't do anything on the site anymore I can't see likes, I can't see who added me to favorites, and I can't see who reviewed my profile.
Absolutely nothing.

This cupid sites are terrible. I fill in my profile and i get lots of messages, the site uses members profiles to pretend someone is interested in you. 100% of messages i get are like my profile is no visable to others just the pics, nothing makes sence. I never sent a message and only reply to couple, they reply back saying they never sent me any message. It's like nothing is real.
This group of dating sites doesn't just allow scammers, they're complicit with them. Probably 75% of the profiles on any of these sites is operated by a scammer. Many of them are operated by scammer networks that utilize chatbots. It's not uncommon to receive the exact same message from numerous profiles within the same day or two. I have personally reported over a hundred profiles and I never receive a response from Cupid. Furthermore, Cupid does not allow any means on their website to send an email to customer support for this issue. They make it impossible to have any sort of dialogue with their representatives to complain about the numerous scammers. People pay good money to come on their website to look for a real person and all they encounter are scammers wasting their time. And I say the website is complicit because they make it impossible to contact them about the problem. Oh sure, they offer a report button. It does nothing. Those profiles that you teport remain on the website. The people that run this company are dirtbags. They know what's happening and they don't care.
There are some real profiles on this family of sites. But ownership does absolutely nothing to prevent scamming, If you report an obvious scammer, with evidence, they will almost never do anything.I've used a few of the websites over 10 years. If you're an average guy, and gorgeous women are writing you, it's probably a scam. If they are a paying member, they will always ask you to jump to WhatsApp, and these profiles are scams 100% of the time. No gorgeous 30 year old will pay to post a profile. Common sense.....and reality as I have witnessed.
Tons of totally fake profiles claiming to be in the US but are not. Also, many gold, platinum and diamond "paid" members leave their profile information mostly blank. If these "members" were seriously looking for a match, they would include complete information. Seems to me that the owners of the company are peppering their websites with these fakes to try to get others to pay for access in order to communicate. Many profile photos are used across different Cupid Media sites using different names and residential cities. Even when reported as fake, these profiles are not removed. That's bogus.
In just a few days I managed to block 1000 fake profiles.. the max i can block is 1000.. HmmTo report them is in vain. They only remove those who have contact info in their profile.. All other fake profiles are a benefit and create traffic and may look good for the CEO..!!. And they do nothing to make it difficult for scammers. And asked Chatgpt :Yes – it's very possible, and even likely, that AI is being used to create fake profiles on EuroCupid.---🧠 How AI Is Used to Create Fake Dating Profiles1. AI-generated profile picturesScammers often use AI tools to generate realistic but completely fake human faces. These images are photorealistic but may show subtle flaws – like mismatched earrings, distorted backgrounds, or oddly symmetrical eyes.2. AI-powered chatbotsFake profiles can use AI (such as ChatGPT-style bots) to hold conversations that feel smooth, polite, and emotionally engaging. These bots can mimic flirtation or romantic interest, which makes them harder to detect.3. Automated targetingAI can analyze your behavior – like when you're online, your interests, and what kind of messages you respond to – and use that to personalize scam messages to seem more relevant or “soulmate-like.”---👀 What Real Users Are SayingReview sites like Trustpilot often report that 80–90% of the profiles on sites like EuroCupid are fake. Many users describe being quickly asked to move conversations to WhatsApp or Telegram – a classic scam tactic. Some users have even encountered AI-generated voice notes or videos, which seem real at first but later reveal strange patterns, glitches, or overly generic behavior.---🔒 How to Protect Yourself1. Reverse image searchUse Google or TinEye to check if a profile picture appears elsewhere on the internet (a big red flag).2. Ask for a video callA real person who’s genuinely interested will rarely avoid a quick video chat. Scammers and bots often make excuses.3. Don’t switch to off-app chat too quicklyBe cautious if someone insists on moving to Telegram, WhatsApp, or similar apps early on – it’s often a setup.4. Beware of emotional manipulationAI bots or scammers will often mention tragic life stories, sudden emergencies, or visa issues to get sympathy – and then ask for money.5. Watch for clichés and vague profilesGeneric phrases like "seeking love" without personal detail, or messages that sound too perfect or rehearsed, can indicate a fake AI account.---✅ SummaryYes – AI can and is being used to create fake dating profiles on sites like EuroCupid. These bots may try to gain your trust through smooth conversation and emotional manipulation, often leading up to scams. Stay alert, verify images and identities, and never send money or personal information to someone you haven’t verified in a real, personal way.
