I bought the wrong length of pole. I ordered a replacement (cost: £700 - so I am not a low value customer) and arranged to replace the original. They charge £35 for courier to return it, fine. I started to be concerned about their attitude when I got their instructions about the return - big emphasis on things like how the particular box it was delivered in must be returned, the box not in any way defaced, only use clear tape and other very fussy things; also insisted I take photos of it all before getting the return sheet from them all seeming to set it up as reasons to reject returns. Anyway I get around to jumping through their hoops over the weekend and their response today (Monday) is that since a return must be made by tomorrow, they can no longer offer a courier service, so I need to arrange it myself. Meanwhile they still haven't sent me the form I apparently need to print out, plus when I do return it I am now expecting them to find some rip to a box or packaging or something. If this is how they treat customers spending large sums of money I cannot imagine what happens when you just buy a simple pole and need to return. I will update where I get to.
