I was asked when buying the car what my non-negotiables were, and told Dan that I needed front and rear parking assist. After I got the car, the front ones appeared not to be working. I emailed Dan to inform him of this and he laughed in his response, saying it’s because I don’t have them and I haven’t heard from him since.
I later emailed Dan again asking him to confirm if the resettlement payment on my previous car had been paid off as I am still being charged for it and have had no response from him.
I was also told that I had half a tank of fuel in the car. I drove 4 miles home and only had 75 miles left to go before it was empty. Saw no point in mentioning it as Dan is clearly only interested in the sale, with no after care.
I am now stuck with a car that I don’t want for the next 4 years. I won’t be buying a VW again.
