Found a car we really liked and initial enquiries all went well with friendly staff (Ash and Jake), however once getting into further detail, it became clear that the warranty was far from a conventional one and only covered for the first £1000, we could pay another £799 for a years warranty for the first £2000. Just seems odd to me and had not come across this in my car purchasing experience before. We had intended to pay cash, but asked for finance options so we could make an informed decision, the rates were 13.9% - 18.8% which seems beyond. For anyone that has no choice it costs a fortune. In the end It just didn't feel like a very personable business and with the warranty risk, no better than buying off someone privately. Ash and Jake were helpful though.
