Was new runflat necessary? 4 month old tyre had a small screw 13mm long lodged between treads (head was flat to depth of tread), In stead of unscrewing and then testing for leak Glenthorne screwed the screw in then told me the tyre had a small leak and the runflat had to be replaced at a cost of £264. I have been going there for about 30 years. They could at least have tried to test for a leak after removing the screw first instead of screwing it in ??????
