THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT USE THEM ⚠️ This has been, without question, the worst business service experience I’ve ever had. My girlfriend originally contacted Declarando on my behalf because my Spanish isn’t great. They claimed they spoke English and promised smooth communication. That was the first promise broken.We eventually got a meeting with Deago, who sold us the dream: a lawyer included in the plan, English-speaking staff, a “state-of-the-art” platform, instant support, everything perfect. In reality, none of this turned out to be true.Right away the red flags started. They weren’t able to take payment from my business account—an accounting firm that can’t process payments? This dragged on for 6–8 weeks. Instead of resolving it, Deago kept repeatedly asking for my girlfriend’s banking details, which made absolutely no sense and felt completely inappropriate. I refused, and the pressure continued. Eventually I used a completely different personal card just to get the process over with. I should have run the other way.The onboarding was about 15 minutes and extremely basic. Then my assigned accountant called me… and spoke almost no English at all. That was the very first thing Deago promised me, and it was immediately shown to be false.Once I started uploading documents, the platform became a complete nightmare. An invoice for €1,250 was entered as €12.50, and other invoices were mysteriously split and altered into smaller amounts, making everything confusing and unusable. Even after pointing out these errors multiple times, nothing got fixed.Week after week, every time I tried to upload clients or expenses, the platform threw a new error. Emailing support became a cycle of “send screenshots” and “wait”—never once did anyone give me a phone call, even after I repeatedly asked for one. As a result, I missed the Q3 submission deadline, which caused me even more stress.At that point I told them I wanted to cancel because:1. The platform didn’t work.2. The “lawyer included” didn’t exist.3. The support simply wasn’t there.I had paid half of the €1,150 fee, and they told me I “didn’t give 15 days’ notice,” even though the platform never worked for me once. I blocked further payments through my bank.And then things got worse.My girlfriend received a call from Floa Bank telling her she had a debt with Declarando, and if she didn’t pay that same day, her credit would be damaged for five years. Declarando had somehow passed along her contact details—even though she was not the client, doesn’t live with me, and has nothing to do with my business account. In my personal opinion, this felt like a massive breach of privacy and completely unacceptable behavior.She has now filed a police report, and while looking deeper, we’ve discovered many other people online claiming similar experiences with this company.This entire process has been stressful, unprofessional, and full of broken promises. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise staying far away
