Absolutely terrible experience order…

Absolutely terrible experience order just under £300 pounds worth of gravel on 26th may for delivery on 1st of June , plenty of notice you would think 1st June was constantly told on phone it was on the way didn’t arrive was promised it would be delivered Saturday 4th no delivery phone on Monday 6th was told it was on the truck on its way later that day spoke to someone else who told me on the computer it was showing still in warehouse so all previous calls I was blatantly lied to it finally arrived Tuesday 7th avoid like the plague needed another bag ordered from stone warehouse on Sunday arrived on time on Tuesday (different transport company )also reported the terms and conditions etc about the cost to cancel to trading standards who looked at website , , emails and these reviews and was told that this was not legal and they would be launching an investigationEdit in reply I am a HGV driver and work in the haulage industry and home delivery to be exact what you are stating is total bull in fact I have done a bit of work for the haulage company you use and know where they are and also know it is not a lack of communication between depots a planner plans the drops the warehouse loads them and the driver delivers Also whether what you blackmail customers with is not for you to decide if it is legal and legit it is for trading standards to decide and their opinion is what matters you also mentioned the 6th but failed to acknowledge the delivery should of arrived on the 1st and then the 4th and then the 6th just to explain so you understand that is 3 yes 3 failed delivery promises and just to be clear when the customer puts a order in for delivery on a certain date you are entering into a contract and by not delivering on that date you are breaking said contract therefore customer is entitled to a full refund without penalties or prejudice that is what you are doing illegalEditAlso if it had been this week I could of been understanding because the computer system most haulage companies use called mandata has been hacked and is having to be rewritten because they will not pay the hackers which is right so anyone having bad deliveries this week please be patient However the reason why you are having so many negative reviews is because you are using a cheap haulage company I will not name them but they have a reputation amongst drivers in the area and use a lot of agency they treat their drivers with the same disregard they treat the deliveries I take offense at the constant blame on the haulage industry when it is a simple case of you get what you pay for I advise you not to talk bull about the haulage industry to someone who knows the industry inside and out when the load is loaded onto a delivery you are aware and when it has not you are aware that is why the last lady I spoke to only had to look on the computer to know it was still in the warehouse because the systems are linked
