From the first contact for a quote, through to receiving all of the commissioning and handover documentation, it has been a superb experience. (By the way I also contacted a large energy supplier for a quote and was told my roof wasn't "standard enough for them")!Rod prepared an initial quote and then worked with me to modify/upgrade to meet my additional requests. He was extremely helpful in reassuring us of any concerns we had and never pushy or trying to up-sell unnecessarily.An installation date was booked in within the month and bang on cue, 8am the scaffolders arrived (having confirmed they would the day before by telephone). These guys were quick, careful and did a fine job.Soon after Tommy and Adam arrived to begin the install with the electrical work. I honestly can't endorse them enough! We had a pre-discussion to go through the details of the installation, including all of the layout, how it will look and how the wiring will be routed; after which they just cracked on with it. They didn't ask for anything, but did keep us updated as necessary and let us suggest convenient timing for turning the power off.Attention to detail was fantastic, from the neat installation of the inverter and batteries in the garage, to the re-tarmacing of a channel in the drive to route the cables (Adam spent a long time making sure this was perfect!).Together with Richie they installed 24 panels on the roof, extremely neatly and well aligned - they look fantastic!Overall the installation was over 4 days, with the last day, Tommy and Adam working to 9:30pm to make sure everything was 100% and operating as expected. It was, although I asked many questions and maybe kept them longer than they needed to be here but they happily went through it all with me.Since the installation we have had 1 full month of generation (July) and I've waited until now to write a review to see how it compared to the original quote from Rod. July didn't have the best start to the month with a lot of overcast days / rain, however..... Rod's quote claimed July could generate 1.3-1.4MWh of electricity and despite the unseasonably poor weather during the first half of the month, we've generated 1.345MWh! I'm definitely happy with that and it confirms the figures from Rod were realistic and not inflated to make it look more attractive!Following installation, Kate ensured the handover pack was completed quickly, following up to ensure the SEG and DNO were processed without delay.Overall a fantastic experience and we're very happy with the end result. I would highly recommend Deege Solar (sometimes 5 stars aren't enough!).
