Incredible experience! As a software engineer, I wanted to gain a solid understanding of AI/ML, especially since building with this technology is becoming essential. I originally joined to learn how to fine-tune an LLM for a RAG project, but I walked away with a strong foundation in modern AI/ML, including shallow learning, deep learning, and leveraging ML effectively. By the end of the program, I could train and fine-tune my own models, but more importantly, I developed a big-picture understanding of how AI/ML fits into software engineering and production systems.
