I purchased a Laptop from Dell on 16th Sept - they processed the order and I was informed it would be delivered 20th September and that somebody needed to be in to receive the delivery.It didn't arrive, they then told me it would definitely arrive by the close of play, it didn't and they gave me a £54 credit. I took the day off work, so lost a lot more than £54!! Today, I again stayed to wait for the delivery, as they assured me it was on its way - it didn't arrive, however this time they sent an email saying they had tried to deliver it and nobody was here - which is very interesting as not only was somebody here, but we also have CCTV, which confirms they are liars as well as incompetent. God only knows when it will arrive.
