Somewhere AFTER I mailed my payment to DHIA the check was lost. I eventually had to ACH the payment and put a stop payment on the check. The entire experience cost me more money than expected. I'd have paid by credit card but the 3 percent fee adds considerable cost to the premium so is not worth it.
