I had an urgent set of documents I sent express overnight from Spain to New Jersey, to arrive next day before 12 PM. The next day I tracked the package to GERMANY. DHL claimed it was held up in customs, but it was an envelope. Nor could they explain why it went to Germany, the opposite direction. Vanessa at customer service closed out the ticket despite my objection. She said "Deliver times are just an estimate." I cannot imagine a company running on delivery ‘estimates.’ What could not be explained is how they even expected to deliver it in time if they first sent it to Germany.
