Parcel left Alicante at 09:56 for delivery so waited in all day. Status updated at 18:00 to say I was not in (and the delivery vehicle was certainly not outside our gate at that time). And at 18:03 the parcel delivered to a DHL Service location about 10 minutes drive away. Must have traveled at about 80 km/h through Denia to achieve that. 20 years ago DHL was my preferred logistics company in Europe but not anymore.
