From past experience using DHL in the USA, both as a customer and business, I felt comfortable ordering products within the EU (Spain in particular) and opting for DHL delivery. IT IS NOT THE SAME. The delivery process in Spain is a nightmare from the lack of tracking indefinitely for days on the DHL website, to lack of customer support options throughout the process. I will go even farther. I am basically a laptop "stay at home" nomad and twice the delivery driver stated I was not home for the delivery. Gets wild when you can see the updated tracking on the website from your laptop while you're sitting at home. Seriously??? To top it off, I file a complaint with DHL and I assume HQ contacted the driver on the route because he then proceeds to drop my package off a the farthest possible Service Point for pick up so I have to travel an hour to get my items when there are pickup points 10 minutes from home. A little disgruntled? The moral to the story is: IF You have ANY OTHER option for ordering and receiving a product in Spain (can't speak for DHL in other EU countries), take it at any additional cost because the stress of dealing with professional incompetence is just not worth the minimal savings in the end.
