Absolutely appalled by the service from DID Electrical in Airside, Swords.
We purchased a dishwasher in September 2025. After just three uses, it began displaying an error code every single time it was turned on. It then stopped draining properly and started leaking water all over our kitchen, despite all installation instructions and filter cleaning being followed.
We contacted the store in early November and were told someone would call out by the end of the week. That week passed, no call. We waited another week, still nothing. We phoned again and were told someone would contact us by Sunday. Sunday came and went with no contact.
I then visited the store in person and was dismissively told, “sure they don’t work on the weekends,” and once again assured someone would come out. Three more weeks passed, now the week of Christmas, and still no word. After Christmas, a technician finally contacted us. He was very pleasant and fixed the dishwasher. It worked only a couple of times before showing a different error code. We were told this was “just the machine.”
Two weeks later, we were back to square one, the original error code returned, the dishwasher became unusable again, and it began leaking water.
We contacted the store again and were told someone would call us back. Two days passed, no call. We rang again and were promised the manager would phone first thing the next morning. That was nearly a week ago, and we are still waiting.
The lack of professionalism, communication, and basic customer care is unacceptable. I would strongly reconsider purchasing from this store again.
