9 months in total to settle a claim using direct redress. Throughout this time, and considering their significant charges, i have needed to constantly chase them. At times i received responses that weren't consistent with the status of the claim at that time and getting different responses from different staff at direct redress. Not adequately chasing the lender or subsequently the FOS. Stopped replying to emails.I had more calls from them in the 2 weeks following final outcome of the claim than i did in the whole 9 months, presumably they wanted their fee considering i hadn't received the refund.Following the final outcome i was asked by Direct Redress to chase the lender myself for the refund...that's surely what their fee goes on, otherwise i would have done the whole thing myself.Do the claim yourself and don't bother with a claims management company. I was initially happy with their terms but feel their service doesn't reflect their fee.
