Since the publication of this review the proprietor of Discounted Deals UK has, unrequested because I have used it, made a full refund. I now accept that they have acted in good faith and do believe that "customer service" is very important to them. The advertisement has been changed to make it absolutely clear. I believe them to an honest company and I do not want my review to damage their business in anyway.The product, an 18v li ion battery was described as Makita battery. When it arrived it was not. It is a "battery for a Makita cordless power tool" manufactured by another company, and in my opinion, vastly inferior to the Makita product. I think this incorrect description was deliberately misleading, especially as the photograph showed a battery with the Makita logo. I am considering taking this matter further.
